| We live just an hour away, but my wife had a conference in Lansing to attend, so I brought the kids out for a night away from home. The room was very comfortable. The front desk gave me a carry-out menu to order out pizza. Went swimming in the pool that was just the right temperature. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The pool had plenty of towels. The cafe even gave us plates, napkins, and forks for our pizza. There is a nice shopping center across the road. Lots of dining options nearby. |

| We had an issue with the heater in our room but the maintenance crew was quickly at our service to fix it.
Overall, very happy we chose to stay here. |

| I was underwhelmed by my stay at the Courtyard Marriot in Lansing. It was a bit more money than competing places, and I didn't see anything special about it. I had a hard time carrying my belongings upstairs to my room, as there was no elevator. I had a negative impression right off, since the entrance sign was not lighted and the motel was located down a dark drive, behind a gas station. As I understood, the light had burned out some time ago. My GPS led me to the gas station, and the station attendant told me how many people had stopped to ask where the Marriot was. Another problem with my stay had to do with the breakfast I purchased in the little cafe off the lobby. I ordered a "healthy" breakfast sandwich whith a whole wheat bun, scrambled egg whites mixed with fresh spinach. It was loaded and dripping with butter. This had a lot of butter, so much I couldn't eat it. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Nothing special to a bit disappointing. |

| This hotel is close to Michigan State University and is clean. The disappointing factors were no wireless in the room, no free breakfast, and a worn out bathtub. Lobby was nice and they did have a bar and restaurant with wireless area. For the price, I expect these things. |

| There are great cookies at the front desk in the evenings. The hotel is located across from a mall, which makes eating dinner very easy. |

| extremely quiet rooms. Might as well have breakfast at motel, no other choices in near vicinity. Didn't locate the jacuzzi that was listed. |

| Overall, great experience. But, my buddy and I had breakfast in the morning ( what we thought was continental). We had scrambled eggs and coffee. Then we got a check for 20 dollars. It would have bees nice if they told us. Mcdonalds is right down the road. |

| Nice hotel, clean, comfortable rooms. No elevator. We decided to have breakfast, and one of us had an omlet and the other scrambled eggs, but these eggs were cold. Bacon, potatoes and muffins were good. I would recommend staying here, as I always find Marriott hotels are reliable. |
